Still having to be careful with Linux upgrades
Being something of an old hand at Linux, I should've known better than this. But here I am, facing another deaf Linux installation (no sound) after another distro upgrade (up from Ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope to Karmic Koala). At the very least, I should have saved a copy of my fstab to make sure that things are pointing to where they're supposed to 
. As of now, I have a system that won't do a regular boot, but a Recovery Mode boot each time. So now I have to make some space to backup my system, and reinstall 
. Something I haven't had to do in some years now. I'll get it fixed, somehow... I guess.
